KAS Homecoming 2025 Deals a Winning Hand

The cafeteria transformed into a dazzling display of chance and excitement on September 26, as the Student Council hosted its annual Homecoming event. This year’s theme, “Casino Night,” was a high-stakes success, bringing a unique blend of glamour and exciting competition.

Led by the 2025-2026 Student Council, the night was a flurry of activity from the moment students walked through the doors. Guests were immediately issued chips, which served as currency for the night’s extensive array of casino games. Students tested their luck and strategy at classic tables like Blackjack and Roulette, alongside unique offerings such as Run the River and Horse Racing.

For the Human Slot Machine, the Student Council members themselves became the “machine,” adding a personalized element.

Beyond the gaming, the atmosphere was kept lively with a continuous stream of entertainment. Students fueled their energy with a spread of treats, including savory mini-hamburgers, fresh fruits, desserts, and various drinks.

As the night progressed, the entertainment continued with dynamic performances. Street Art Cadenza and DJ Kid Famous delivered sets that energized the crowd.

The climax of the night was undoubtedly the highly anticipated Candy Gram announcement. As names were called, the suspense and eagerness were palpable. The Candy Grams, often used as a platform for personal messages and confessions, drew enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

The KAS Homecoming, successfully led and executed by the Student Council, concluded on a high note, leaving high schoolers, teachers, and guests with smiles all around. The event was praised for its smooth execution and unique atmosphere.

A final round of appreciation goes out to the Student Council, the performers from Street Art Cadenza, DJ Kid Famous, and the teachers whose hard work ensured the 2025 Casino Night Homecoming was a resounding success.
