On Wednesday, the new Student Council for the 2025-2026 school year was announced to the high school student body during advisory/BIG time.
Juniors Jonathan Chen and Daniel Chen will serve as Co-Presidents. “This year will be an exciting one for the Student Council as we look to advocate for and represent the student body more actively than in recent years,” said Jonathan. “We want students to know that StuCo is an independent voice for them, and we have plenty of new ideas for events to make this year stand out.”
The rest of the Student Council leadership includes junior Clarice Fu as Secretary and junior Philip Tsai as Treasurer.
The grade representatives are:
Freshmen: Haru Shih and Alexandra Varemaki
Sophomores: London Chang, Lesley Shay, Tiffany Gau, Apple Lee, Sofia Liu, and Zion Wan
Juniors: Venus Wang, Melanie Tan, and Elena Meehan
Seniors: Miley Chiu and Fiona Huang

The first StuCo event, Homecoming, will be coming up near the end of this month. Haru Shih, 9th grade, who is participating in Student government for the first time said “I’m very excited for the activities that are going to be happening this year.”
