Absolutely!
Homecoming, better known as Hoco, is an annual tradition hosted by the KAS Student Council to celebrate the start of a new school year. But for me, it’s more than just a “welcome back” event it’s a chance to go all out (or all in to match the theme), dress up in something wild, and not feel weird about it.

Despite having only two weeks to plan, StuCo pulled off an incredible event. The photobooth was definitely my favorite part it’s fun, free, and something we can all keep as a lasting memory.
At the start of the night, everyone was handed six poker chips. Two chips could be exchanged for one raffle ticket or, if you were feeling lucky, you could “go all in” to double your chance of winning big. The prizes were insane this year: an Apple gift card, a 500 NT Lululemon gift card, a marshmallow Jellycat, and even an Instax Polaroid camera.
Sure, 250 NT might sound like a lot for a school event, but when you think about the effort, the atmosphere, and the amazing prizes, it was worth every dollar.
Hoco wasn’t just a party - it was a night of photographing, risk-taking, and fun memories that reminded me why every event at school is so special.
