Q. Where do you live now? Why? What are you doing?
A. Sydney, Australia. I’m currently studying at USYD.

Q. What are the biggest differences between there and Kaohsiung? What’s the biggest
similarities?
A: Everything feels different in Sydney– the environment, the vibes, the people. Honestly, I
personally don’t see any similarities between the two places.

Q. What does a typical day look like for you?
A: I take the train to school, attend a few classes, and after class, I like to explore the city. I
often visit a cute cafe and do some schoolwork there. I’ll also do some grocery shopping
if I need to.
Q. What's one thing you miss most about Taiwan?
A: I miss Taiwanese food!!! I’m still trying to find authentic Taiwanese food spots here. I also
miss my grandma :)
Q. What advice would you give to the HS students?
A: Enjoy your time in HS and don’t stress too much about everything. Don’t worry about the
outcome either. It’s a privilege to be able to study and learn new things!

Q. Did your KAS experience prepare you for life after HS?
A: Academically, yes. I took the IB program, and it really helped me develop time
management skills and learn how to handle stress. It also helped me gain confidence in
presenting my ideas to the entire class.
Q. What are you looking forward to most in the next five years?
A: I’m looking forward to exploring the city, navigating this new chapter of my life, and being
present in the moment.
Q. Anything else?
A: I miss my HS teachers!! Sometimes when I’m attending lectures, it reminds me of sitting
in class back in high school. It still feels a little surreal that I’ve already started university–
and, most importantly, I survived IB!
