Q. Where do you live now? Why? What are you doing?
A: I’m currently in Miami. I study at the University of Miami majoring in business management. In general I’m just trying to get to know this city and hope to gain some great memories from here.

Q. What are the biggest differences between there and Kaohsiung? What’s the biggest similarities?
A: The weather is definitely the biggest similarity. It's sunny and sometimes rainy which is a lot like Kaohsiung, so people who enjoy the weather in Taiwan should put Miami into consideration. Miami is a city full of different ethnicities including whites, blacks, huge amounts of hispanics, asians, etc. I’m still getting used to the culture and lifestyle of different ethnicities. It’s pretty challenging for me, especially since I'm from a place surrounded by mostly Asians.
Q. What does a typical day look like for you?
A: I usually wake up around 9, eat some breakfast, then practice with the basketball team. I scheduled all my classes in the afternoon so I have my time free in the mornings and nights. After finishing the classes, I would hang out with my boys and just spend the rest of my day chilling.
Q. What's one thing you miss most about being a high school student?
A: One thing I really miss about high school is the people surrounding me. I feel connected to my community, such as my friends, teachers, and parents back in Taiwan. Coming to Miami is a huge step for me since I won’t be surrounded by the people I know, and I’m still getting used to it.
Q. What's the biggest lesson you’ve learned in the "real world" that you wish you knew while you were in high school?
A: Time management is really important

Q. What advice would you give to your high school self?
A: Work hard play hard
Q. Did your KAS experience prepare you for life after graduation?
A: KAS is a great environment to practice English and this helps me a lot when I’m communicating with my professors.
Q. What are you looking forward to most in the next five years?
A: I’m looking forward to my development as a human being, I’m willing to try new things and discover my interests through classes, clubs, internships, or even my friends. In general I’m just excited about the unknown future and live out the best I could.
